We use the Dr. Pen A20, a Health Canada approved motorised pen with a single-use cartridge for every client — the depth is adjusted by area, because the skin on the cheek is not the skin on the forehead.

How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what is being treated. Texture and fine lines usually respond in three to four sessions spaced four to six weeks apart; acne scarring typically takes longer. Your technician will give you a realistic number at consultation rather than a package sold in advance.
Does it hurt?
A numbing cream is applied first and left to work before the pass begins. Most clients describe it as uncomfortable rather than painful, with the forehead and hairline the most sensitive areas.
