Frequently Asked Questions

The questions we are asked most often, about laser hair removal and about our clinics. If yours is not here, a consultation is free.

Does laser hair removal work for everyone?

Laser Hair Removal is known to be effective in reducing hair growth for a majority of individuals, but individual results may vary based on factors such as hair color, skin type, and hormonal influences.

How long does a treatment session take?

The length of a treatment session depends on the type of treatment and the specific procedure being performed. For laser hair removal, sessions can be relatively short, ranging from 15 minutes for smaller areas like the upper lip to about one hour for larger areas like the back or legs.

Is laser hair removal safe for darker skin tones?

Laser hair removal can be performed on darker skin tones, but it’s crucial to use suitable lasers to avoid skin damage or hyperpigmentation risks associated with traditional laser types.

What does laser hair removal feel like?

During laser hair removal, a laser emits concentrated light pulses that target hair follicles, causing a sensation akin to a rubber band snapping against the skin, which may vary in intensity depending on individual pain tolerance and the treated area.

Can I fit a session into a lunch break?

Yes, laser hair removal treatments are often quick and can be done during a typical lunch break due to their efficiency and minimal downtime.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions needed for laser hair removal results depends on individual factors such as hair type, color, and skin tone, as well as the targeted area, but typically several sessions are necessary for noticeable reduction in hair growth.

What should I expect straight after a session?

After your laser hair removal treatment, it’s common to experience mild redness and some discomfort in the treated areas. This is a normal reaction and typically subsides within a few hours to a day.

How long do the results last?

Laser hair removal can significantly reduce hair growth, and the results can last for an extended period, ranging from several months to years. However, some individuals may experience hair regrowth over time, which means the results are not always permanent and may require maintenance sessions.

What aftercare do I need?

After undergoing laser hair removal, it’s essential to adhere to the provided post-treatment care guidelines. These instructions help promote healing, reduce discomfort, and enhance the effectiveness of the procedure while reducing the risk of complications.

When can I wear makeup after a facial?

After a facial treatment, the skin may be sensitive or have open pores, so waiting a few hours allows the skin to recover and reduces the risk of adverse reactions from makeup application.

How should I prepare for a session?

Before laser hair removal, it’s important to avoid sun exposure to reduce the risk of complications and ensure the effectiveness of the treatment. Additionally, shaving the area before the session helps the laser target the hair follicles more precisely. Ask Your Question [email protected] Call Us 1 647-229-7397 Still have a question?
