Opening 1 October 2026. The Stoney Creek clinic opens on 1 October 2026 and is taking bookings now. Everything below describes the clinic from that date.

Bio microneedling at our Stoney Creek clinic, on Highway 8 and within the City of Hamilton. No device and no metal needles — the work is done by hand.

Bio Microneedling at Femme Laser Clinic

Bio microneedling uses SQT silica spicules, derived from freshwater sponge, massaged into the skin by hand. There is no device and there are no metal needles. The spicules create thousands of microscopic channels as they are worked in, which prompts the same renewal response without a motorised pen.

The reason we offer it alongside conventional microneedling is that it can be used on active breakouts, where a needling pen would risk spreading bacteria across the face. It is not only for the marks left afterwards. The full explanation is on our bio microneedling guide.

Expect visible flaking for a few days as the skin turns over. That is the treatment working rather than a reaction, and it is worth planning around if you have something on that week.

Questions we hear in Stoney Creek

When does the Stoney Creek clinic open?

The Stoney Creek clinic opens on 1 October 2026 at 366 Highway 8, Stoney Creek. Appointments can be booked now for dates from then. Consultations and patch tests are free, as at every Femme clinic.

Where is the Stoney Creek clinic?

We are at 366 Hwy 8 in Stoney Creek, which is Queenston Road through this stretch. Message us when you book and we will send directions.

How is bio microneedling different from regular microneedling?

Conventional microneedling uses a motorised pen with metal needles. Bio microneedling uses silica spicules massaged in by hand — no device, no needles. The main practical difference is that it can be used on active breakouts, where a pen would risk spreading bacteria.

Can it be used on active acne?

Yes. That is one of the reasons we offer it. It treats active breakouts as well as the texture and marks left behind, which is not true of needling with a pen.

Will my skin flake afterwards?

Usually yes, for a few days, as the skin turns over. It is expected rather than a reaction. If you have an event that week it is worth booking around it.

Is this your Hamilton location?

Yes. Stoney Creek is part of the City of Hamilton, so this is where Hamilton clients are treated, along with Winona, Grimsby, Binbrook, Ancaster and Dundas.
