Bikini line hair is coarse and often rooted more deeply than hair on the arms or legs, which means the laser has to reach further down the follicle to be effective.
Our protocol pairs 808 nm with 940 nm for this: 808 nm does the primary work, while 940 nm adds penetration for thicker, more deeply rooted follicles. For deeper skin tones the system leans on 1064 nm, which is absorbed less by melanin in the epidermis.

How a course of bikini sessions works
Every course starts with a consultation and patch test. You shave the area a day or two beforehand, the cooled handpiece makes its pass, and sessions repeat four to six weeks apart because only follicles in their active growth phase respond to any one session. Most people complete six to ten.

What is the difference between bikini and Brazilian?
Bikini covers the hair that would sit outside a swimsuit line. Brazilian covers the full intimate area. Your technician confirms exactly which area you want treated before starting.

Is it more painful than other areas?
The bikini line is more sensitive than arms or legs, which is why the handpiece cools the skin continuously and settings are adjusted for comfort throughout.
How should I prepare?
Come with the area shaved rather than waxed, since the follicle needs to be intact for the laser to work. Avoid tanning beforehand and follow the guidance your technician gives you.
