Legs are the largest area we treat, which makes treatment speed the deciding factor. Hair on the legs is usually medium to coarse and sits at a moderate follicle depth.
That profile is what 808 nm is built for. Our protocol lists it as the primary wavelength for exactly these areas, combining deep follicle penetration with fast treatment speed so a full-leg appointment stays manageable.
Legs are also frequently shaved or waxed, and many clients come to laser because of ingrown hairs and the constant upkeep. Come shaved rather than waxed, since the laser needs an intact follicle to target.

How a course of legs sessions works
Every course starts with a consultation and patch test. You shave the area a day or two beforehand, the cooled handpiece makes its pass, and sessions repeat four to six weeks apart because only follicles in their active growth phase respond to any one session. Most people complete six to ten.

How long does a full leg session take?
Legs are the largest area we treat, so it is a longer appointment than underarms or face. The 808 nm wavelength is chosen partly for its treatment speed.
Can I book just the lower legs?
Yes. Half leg and full leg are separate treatment areas, so you can book only the section you want.
Will it stop ingrown hairs?
Ingrown hairs are usually caused by shaving and waxing. As hair reduces over a course, the shaving that causes them reduces too.
Should I shave or wax before?
Shave. Waxing pulls the follicle out, and the laser needs the follicle in place to target it. Avoid waxing in the weeks before your appointment.
