How Much Does Microneedling Cost in Canada?

The short answer

At Femme Laser Clinic, microneedling costs $199 a session, or $499 for a package of three. With the neck included it is $225 a session, or $597 for three. Prices are plus 13% HST in Ontario or 5% GST at our Vancouver clinic, and they are the same at all thirteen clinics.

Elsewhere, prices are surprisingly hard to find. We checked the 84 clinics on Google’s first page for microneedling in 12 Canadian markets, and 53 of them (63%) publish no microneedling price on their own website. Of the 21 that publish an exact single-session price for standard microneedling, the median is $359 a session, the middle half charge $290 to $399, and the range runs from $250 to $463. None of the 21 charges less than $199.

We used the same approach as our laser hair removal price survey: only each clinic’s own regular price counts, and 6 more clinics that list only a starting price (from $150 to $450) are left out of the median, as are RF microneedling, PRP add-ons and membership rates.

What a microneedling course costs

One session rarely finishes the job. The collagen remodelling that changes your skin happens over roughly four to twelve weeks, so sessions are spaced four to six weeks apart, and the number you need is set by the concern rather than by the area. Texture and fine lines usually respond within three to four sessions; established acne scarring is planned as a course of six or more.

For comparison, three single sessions at the survey’s median price would be $1,077 before tax. 8 of the clinics publish a three-session package for standard microneedling, and the median of those packages is $1,035, about twice the $499 for three at Femme.

What changes the price

A single price per session hides four decisions. Knowing them makes two quotes comparable.

• The area$199 to $225Adding the neck takes a session from $199 to $225. Body areas such as the abdomen or thighs, often treated for stretch marks, take longer and are priced separately.

Comparing single-session prices between clinics tells you little if the number of sessions differs. The questions that matter are how many sessions your concern is likely to need, what each session includes, and whether you are being quoted standard, RF or PRP microneedling.

Plan your microneedling course

Choose your main concern and the area. The planner uses our published prices and the session ranges our clinics plan for each concern, and compares the same course at the survey’s median price.

What to check before you compare prices

The device and the depth. At Femme every session uses the Dr. Pen A20, a motorized pen with sterile single-use cartridges, and the needle depth is set area by area: shallower on delicate under-eye skin, deeper on scar tissue. Comfort and recovery. Topical numbing is applied first and given time to work, and most people describe the treatment as a vibration with some scratching over bony areas. Ways to pay less without cutting corners

Buy the three-session package. Three sessions cost $499 instead of $597 bought one at a time, a saving of $98. With the neck, the package is $597 instead of $675, a saving of $78.

Plan the course around the concern. Mild texture may be done in three sessions; acne scarring needs six or more. Ask for an honest estimate before you buy more sessions than you need.

Keep the spacing. Booking sooner than four weeks does not speed collagen up; the skin needs the time between sessions.

Protect the result. Makeup should wait 24 hours and sun exposure should be avoided for a week after each session, so you are not paying to repair avoidable irritation.
