New locationWhat hydrafacial actually does
HydraFacial combines three steps that are usually separate appointments: it cleanses and exfoliates, extracts congestion using suction rather than manual pressure, and then infuses hydrating serums into the skin.
The suction-based extraction is what distinguishes it from a traditional facial. Because congestion is drawn out rather than squeezed out, there is far less trauma to the skin, which is why most people leave without the redness a manual extraction facial can cause.
What makes it different
A traditional deep-cleansing facial relies on manual extraction, which is effective but can leave the skin red and sensitive for a day or two. HydraFacial uses a vortex suction tip that lifts congestion from the pore while simultaneously delivering serum. The result is that it suits skin that is both congested and sensitive — a combination that is otherwise awkward to treat.
What a session involves
1. Cleanse and exfoliate
The surface is cleansed and a gentle resurfacing step lifts dead skin.
2. Acid loosening
A mild acid blend loosens congestion in the pore without the sting of a peel.
3. Vortex extraction
Suction draws out congestion. This is the step that replaces manual squeezing.
4. Hydration and serums
Hyaluronic and antioxidant serums are infused as the tip passes.
5. Protect
SPF before you leave. No downtime, and makeup the same day is fine.
HydraFacial questions we hear most
Is HydraFacial suitable for sensitive skin?
Usually yes, and it often suits sensitive skin better than a traditional extraction facial, because congestion is drawn out with suction rather than manual pressure.
How long does it take?
A standard session runs about 45 minutes. There is no downtime, so it fits into a lunch break.
Will I be red afterwards?
Most people are not. Some flushing for under an hour is normal, and you can wear makeup the same day.
How often should I have one?
Monthly suits most skin. If you are treating active congestion, a closer initial series then monthly maintenance works better.
Can I have it before an event?
Yes, and it is one of the better choices for that. Book five to seven days ahead rather than the day before so any minor flushing has fully settled.
Pricing
Prices are published rather than quoted on the day, and they are the same at every clinic. See the full list on the pricing page, or message us on WhatsApp and we will send the figures for the areas you are asking about.
